Eckville Rec Board held a golf clinic at Dark Horse Golf Course for kids wanting to learn the sport

Young Eckville golfers learned the basics about the sport in a full workshop put on by the Eckville Recreation, Arts and Culture.

The workshop was held the afternoon of June 23.

The workshop, held at Dark Horse Golf Course, was open to young golfer ages 6-13. They were broken up into smaller sections, 90 minute workshop for those aged six to eight, and a full two hours for golfers aged 9-13.

The workshop went over basic skills and forms needed to play the sport. Participants were also put through drills and had the chance to try their hand on a couple holes on the course.
