Sylvan Lake RCMP have arrested an adult male wanted on an arrest warrant.
RCMP made the arrest on July 10 after responding to an unrelated welfare check at the Sylvan Lake RV Park. There officers arrested Dallas Gassner, of Lloydminster, and recovered a stolen recreational vehicle.
Gassner was the subject of the concern RCMP were called about, and he was arrested around 10 a.m. on July 10.
Upon further investigation, officers were able to determine Grassner was in possession of various stolen possessions, including a holiday trailer, vehicle and ATV.
The 35-year-old has been charged with:
- 3 counts of possession of stolen property over $5,000
- 1 count of possession of stolen property under $5,000
- 1 provincial charge
The arrest warrant for Gassner was issued out of Camrose, Alta.
On July 11, Gassner appeared before a Justice of the Peace and was released on $500 no cash bail. He will make his next appearance in Red Deer Provincial Court on Aug. 7.
The holiday trailer, vehicle and ATV have been recovered and are scheduled to be returned to their owner, according to RCMP.
