Eckville Town Council will look a little different after Election Day on Oct. 16.
Previously, it was announced three of the current town councillors chose not to run for reelection, this left three spots open for other residents.
As of noon on Nomination Day, only three candidates came forward to run for election.
This means all councillors have won their spot by acclamation.
The position of mayor was also won through acclamation, meaning Mayor Helen Posti’s run as mayor will last another four years.
Those elected by acclimation are: Ken Chapman, Colleen Ebden, Karin Engen, Dwayne Meyers, Laurie Phillips and Kevin See.
The new council will take over from the current, and be sworn in after election day on Oct. 16.
