Jason MacEachern, a resident of Eckville, Alta., was one of six Alberta lottery winners on May 2.
The lottery took place on a stage at the Century Casino on Fort Road where each of the participants either did Plinko, The Big Spin, or The Bigger Spin.
MacEachern took a spin on ‘The Bigger Spin’ wheel and won the $800,000 prize.
Before participating in the lottery, MacEachern purchased his winning The Bigger Spin ticket from the Rimbey Value Drug Mart.
“I was so excited to see I had the winning ticket,” he said.
“I high-fived the guy behind me and immediately called my buddy to tell him.”
MacEachern currently has plans to buy a new truck.
