Students, parents and teachers gathered in the gym at Eckville Elementary School to commemorate Remembrance Day.

Some classes and students took turns performing poems at the service on Nov. 7.

Everyone in attendance took the time to pay their respects during the moment of silence and the laying of the wreaths with help from an Eckville Legion representative and Rev. Sandra Franklin-Law.
