Round Three of Crank Cup at DTHS

Eckville’s Crank Wrestling CLub hosted Round Three of the Crank Cup tournament on March 17.

Forty wrestlers participated, coming from the Rebels Wrestling Club in Calgary, the Cochrane Cowboys, MMAU in Calgary, the Eckville club, plus Condor and Rocky Mountain House.

“The level of wrestling these young athletes have reached in such a short time never ceases to amaze,” said Coach Adam Laporte in an email.

The final round, the championships, will take place May 26 at David Thompson High School.
