The Nov. 4 game between the Morinville Kings and Eckville Eagles was close with the Eagles taking the game at 3-2.

Eckville owned the game for the first period with the first goal shot in by Brian Pieper.

However, the Kings took over in second period, scoring two goals and taking the lead in the game. Tom Brennan scored a point with assistance from Jordan Denesuik with the first goal.

Tim Nolte collaborated with Kyle Plett for the King’s second goal of the game, bringing the team into first place and stealing the limelight during second period.

Third period was come-back time for the Eagles with Andrew Coles tying up the game at exactly 11:11 on the clock and Jeff Clazie assisting the goal.

Lucky Number 13, Devon Hobbs brought the team to victory with Patrick Turville’s assistance.
