Submissions of text documents is preferred in "text" or "ASCII text" formats. Please, do not format your document with anything other than plain text as special text handling commands may not translate. This does not mean we do not want your input, but make it in the form of a request in text so that we can complete the task in Quark XPress.
The most reliable method of transmitting graphics or photos from almost any platform is in jpeg format. A resolution of 300dpi is preferred to maintain image quality. If in doubt as to the size of an image, larger is always better than smaller. We will adjust colours and darkness to suit our presses. We print using CMYK colours.
PDFs has become a preferred method of sending documents with text, fonts and images embedded. We can receive use PDF documents which are properly formatted but have limited capabilities to change any portion of their contents. Please make sure to get exact specifications as to size and photo quality before constructing a PDF file for transmission.
